Hello, my name is Evan, and I’m part of the Customer Success Team here at Knowledge Anywhere. In this video, we’ll guide you through the site messaging and notifications feature. Whether you’re an administrator or a learner, staying informed has never been easier.

Site messages are internal communications sent within the Knowledge Anywhere LMS platform. This means they are sent directly to a learner’s inbox within the LMS. These messages can be sent by administrators to specific groups, ensuring important information is delivered directly to those who need to see it. You can also format these messages to personalize them. It’s important to note that even though you can turn off site messages here, if you turn this toggle back on, the message will not be sent out again.

Let’s talk about notifications. These are specifically email-only notifications that keep users up to date with important updates and actions required for them on the LMS. They can be triggered by various events such as course enrollments, due dates, and completion statuses. Notifications also cover password resets.

There’s one more aspect of messaging to cover. By going into the Learners tab and selecting one or several learners, like you would do if merging, you’ll see the “Send Email” option. Clicking it will open a side tab allowing you to create a tailor-made email specific to those learners selected.

And that’s it! For further assistance, please contact our Customer Success Team at support@knowledgeanywhere.com. Thank you for watching.
