Not all learning exists only within your LMS – Knowledge Mark allows your Learners to take advantage of the variety in the Internet to centralize and track external training without interrupting their natural flow. If they see an article that relates to their role, with the click of a button, your Learners can add that resource directly within your LMS!
To track content that you access outside of the Learning System, click and drag the Knowledge Mark “bookmarklet” below into your browser’s bookmark bar. Once added to your bookmarks, you will be able to add content from the web to your Learning History Transcript.
There’s no limit to the number of external resources you can add using the xAPI Bookmark, so feel free to include as much content as needed for comprehensive learning.
Yes, you can remove content from your transcript if needed, allowing for continuous updating and customization of your learning journey.
External content integrated through xAPI contributes to your overall learning progress, providing a holistic view of your learning achievements across various platforms. This can be seen in your Transcript under “External Training” and will be reported on similar to any other type of Learning Path.
Knowledge Mark works with desktop browsers except those with touch interfaces. Since KnowledgeMark works through a browser extension, this tool works only on desktops.
