Hello, I’m Jacqueline, Knowledge Anywhere’s Marketing Lead, and today we’re going to go over how to create a course survey. Right now, we’re in Knowledge Anywhere’s administrative LMS in the content section on the left-hand side of the screen. From here, you can go up to the top menu bar under content add-ons and go down to surveys. Now that we’re in surveys, you can see which surveys we’ve created in the past. For example, let’s check out the default course survey. This is how a potential survey could look, and you can see it’s very easy to edit once a survey is done. I could toggle these, delete a question if I wanted to, change around the order, add a new question, or save it as is. For this example, let’s go back and add a survey. For this survey title, I’ll just say ‘test’ because we’re just going to test out how to create one.
Let’s start, and we’ll just try a few out to test the tool. Let’s say I want a question about frequency, such as ‘How often do you do something?’ and I want this to be a required question. Let’s look at another question that is available to us, like a Likert rating of satisfied and dissatisfied on a scale of 1 to 10, so ‘How likely are you to…’ would be an example of this type of question, and they could say they were very dissatisfied to very satisfied.
Let’s look at another question, so let’s do a quality rating: ‘How would you rate this example?’ You can see how you can continue to add questions and allow people to choose their own answers here, and these are always editable in terms of if you would like to change the question, delete it, or make it optional or required, or if you’d like to change the order. We also have other options including yes/no questions, so ‘Would you…?’ would be an example of that type of question. Right now, this is in English, but if you would like to change the language, you can click up here for your options. I’m just going to click save, and you can see this is saved right here.
To see how many courses each survey is assigned to, go to the right-hand side of your screen, and you can see right now it is zero. Let’s check out how we can add this course survey to a course. We’re already in content, but you can go to manage content and courses and choose a course that interests you. I’m going to pick Forklift Safety. Now that I’m in this course of Forklift Safety, what we can do is go over to the configuration tab and right here you’ll see once a learner completes the course, I can use this test as my survey. I can also choose here if I would like to require them to complete the survey as part of their certificate. I’ll hit save, and now every time they complete this course, a learner will be assigned this test survey at the end. This has been a very basic overview of how to create and assign a course survey.
I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and if you have any questions, comments, or feedback, please feel free to reach out to us at support@knowledgeanywhere.com. Thank you.
