“My name is Jason Household, and I’m the commercial product trainer for Wave Business. Wave is a known technology leader in providing solutions to small, medium, and large enterprise corporations, and we cover everything from the Canadian border all the way down to California. Prior to any LMS, the majority of our training was done in a classroom setting using PowerPoint. This was difficult because most of our learners were spread throughout three different states: Washington, Oregon, and California. This also meant that we had to fly there, which wasn’t entirely cost-effective, and it required us to schedule timing with our managers to get those trainings done. At the end of that training, there was no way to get proper feedback from our learners, so we had no idea if they were engaged in the training.
Since using Knowledge Anywhere, we’ve seen a significant change in our training community. We’re actually collaborating more than we had ever done before. We’re creating some really good courses for our learners that involve embedded video interactions, gamification, and skill-based quizzes. As a result, we’re seeing a higher retention level from our learners.
There are so many things I like about Knowledge Anywhere. If we start off with their user interface, it’s really appealing to me. The fact that they assigned a project manager to us as well and if I have any questions or concerns, they are super responsive—something I’m not used to. What I also like is that Knowledge Anywhere is constantly adding new features and services, which is making our jobs easier and is really allowing us to grow with our LMS. Another thing that really appeals to me too is the content they put out there; they speak to certain trends within the industry of learning and development and certain softwares. To me, since I don’t have a lot of time, I can see that content is just really valuable to me.”
